Nunja, das mit den Blue Mountains wurde dann heut doch nix, da der Fahrer krank war. Ist jetzt auf Sonntag verschoben. Dafür war ich heut mit 2 Deutschen und nem Franzosen nochmal an der Oper, dann bei Darling Harbour (irgendwie ne komische Mischung aus Hafen Museum und Spielplatz) und anschließend noch in Newtown. Das amüsante ist, das es nicht nur wie Neustadt klingt (was es ja effektiv heißt), sondern auch genau das ist: ein alternatives Szeneviertel. Ist aber trotzdem ganz anders als bei uns. Viele der Gebäude sehen irgendwie verdammt aus wie Westernstadtkulisse, aber das sieht man hier ständig. Keine Ahnung was ich heut abend noch anstelle. Mal was trinken wäre toll. Ist übrigens garnicht so einfach hier was alkoholisches zu trinken zu bekommen. Supermarkt? Fehlanzeige. Convenience Store? Fehlanzeige. Tanke? Fehlanzeige. Nein, Alkohol gibts hier irgendwie nur in Liquor Shops. Nervt ganz schön!

Well, the Blue Mountains didn't quite work out today as the driver got sick. Will do it Sunday now. Instead I went to the opera again having 2 Germans and 1 French with me. Afterwards we went to Darling Harbour which is some kind of strange mixture of harbour, museum and playground. We finished the day in Newtown, which more or less hosts the alternative scene of Sydney. Don't really know yet what we are going to do tonight. Getting something to drink would be a nice thing to do, but thats not as easy as it might sound. Quite hard here. Supermarket? Nope. Convenience Store? Nope. Gas Station? Nope. Over here you only get alcohol in dedicated liquor stores! That sucks!
